It's Two Bells!
Time to hit the hay!
(I had to look up nautical time to figure out what time 9am was. It’s two bells. Perfect sense! It could also be 1am or 5 am or 1 pm or 5 pm or 9pm. I guess this may be why the whole bells thing didn’t really take off all that well. So confusing! I wonder if there is an iphone app that give time in bells?)

The Beekeeper's Apprentice
I am just beginning Book (chapter?) Three. I wish I had something truly insightful to say, but it’s now almost 4 in the a.m. and insightful is foggy. I am however thoroughly enjoying the book, the mystery, the comraderie of H and R. There seems to be a feeling of truth and accuracy in the portrayal of Holmes which is remarkable and I find the historical accuracy of the time and places very...

...blech...
So I was about 11 or 12. It was summer so it was hot which resulted in the five of us kids drinking lots of water everyday. My mom decided she would buy us special cups to leave on the counter so we would not empty out her cabinet looking for a new cup every time we wanted a drink. My cup was this hard plastic and it was Sunkist orange! I loved that cup…
Well I got my drink out of it and...

Not very professional to use at work though. People expect more from a guy in uniform when he tells you you are headed for the hoosegow!
